Business Development Manager – Immigration
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager – Immigration to lead client engagement, grow our partner network, and expand our market presence for one of our clients. As a Business Development Manager for Building Optimisation, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying and securing high-value opportunities across target sectors. You’ll lead proactive outreach, foster strong relationships, and manage a structured sales pipeline, aligning client needs with our innovative sustainability and optimisation solutions.

Your Role
This dual-role position involves both outreach and business development within the immigration sector. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building partnerships with immigration consultants, legal professionals, and organisations, and closing high-value deals. Your goal will be to drive new business while maintaining long-term relationships and a strong reputation for service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and convert new business opportunities using strategic, insight-led approaches.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, including operational and C-suite stakeholders.
- Lead the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract, using a consultative approach.
- Tailor Optimized solutions to meet client goals and create clear, measurable value.
- Develop high-impact proposals, collaborating across teams to maximize success.
- Drive growth via cross-selling and upselling across Optimizing service lines.
- Ensure seamless handover to operations and monitor early-stage service delivery.
- Feed operational insight back into future business development strategies.
- Stay up to date on market trends, tech, and regulatory shifts in sustainability and energy.
- Champion digital tools (e.g., Client Portal) to enhance engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams on strategy, campaigns, and service improvement.
- Represent Optimized at events to build profile and unlock new routes to market.
- Identify, connect, and build relationships with individuals, agents, law firms, and institutions requiring immigration support.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to generate qualified leads and partnerships.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, target demographics, and expansion opportunities.
- Pitch Legend Connects’ immigration services to prospective clients and partners in a compelling, tailored manner.
- Negotiate deals and contracts, ensuring mutual value and long-term engagement.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and legal teams to align on strategy, messaging, and compliance.
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and networking sessions.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales and outreach targets, with performance-based commission incentives.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in outreach, business development, or sales – preferably in the immigration, legal, or international services sectors.
- Strong understanding of immigration processes and global relocation trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, email outreach tools, and basic data reporting.
- A degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.
