Client Manager
One of our UK based clients need Client Manager who will be working in their back offices in Islamabad and Lahore. This role will manage number of clients independently, month end VAT Returns, management accounts, year-end financial accounts/tax returns, submission of Corporation Tax Returns, preparation and submission of Self-Assessment Tax Returns and other ad hoc assignments as required by the business.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to prepare and produce final accounts report for limited companies
- Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns with software
- Preparation of self-assessments and filing them with HMRC via software
- Managing 70 to 80 clients (limited companies) and 60 to 75 individuals for their queries and tax affairs
- Managing a team of junior resources and review their work
- Review juniors’ works and help them to prepare final accounts and others
- Review bookkeeping schedules, accounts classification, amend the errors of VAT in the VAT returns
- Assisting HMRC tax investigation/compliance check (limited companies and individuals)
- Liaising and assisting between clients and HMRC
- Preparation of appeal letters to HMRC on behalf of clients, ad hoc duties
- Bookkeeping, review juniors’ works, preparation of VAT returns and filing them with HMRC
- Preparation of directors’ payroll, CIS tax deductions and filing them with HMRC
Requirements
- ACCA Affiliate/ACCA Finalist
- 3 plus years’ experience of working with UK based accounting or taxation firm in similar role.
- Xero, Quickbooks, FreeAgent, VT software, Taxfiler and MS Excel
- Knowledge of Inform Direct, Hubdoc/ Dext
- Developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing Client Acquisition/ engagement in partnership with the Digital Marketing Team
- Drives continuous service improvement
- Educate and spread awareness within the client-base about our capabilities and offerings to increase service adoption
- Increase adoption by focusing on distinct Clients to increase service adoption and overall increase in number of Clients
- In partnership with our Digital marketing firm, monitor service usage and develop client profiles including geographic presence, relationship history and business interests to support in the develop of renewal proposals and potentially identify upsell opportunities
- Ongoing learning, and deepening that knowledge, of the suite of services offered by Legend Financial and ongoing enhancements and new offerings and how they relate to Clients.
- Understand Client business and market trends and suggest ways to help clients address them through education on the service and/or connecting them with the right people internally to address those needs.
- Leverage internal tools to optimize client engagement
- Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well in teams
- Exceptional skills in listening to clients, articulating complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Proven record of maintaining strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
- Goal and action orientated, with ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
