Client Manager
You will be joining a diverse group of global and local team members with a presence in United Kingdom, Pakistan, Philippines, US and Canada, leading a team of highly skilled and motivated individuals across multiple site offices. You will liaise with various internal partners across the global organization as part of day-to-day operations as well as any special projects (assigned on as-needed basis).
Role and responsibilities
- Preparation of Annual Financial Statements for submission to the CH and HMRC
- Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, Periodical Reports and Variance Analysis for Corporate clients
- General Review of Financial Statements and other accounting entries prepared by Juniors under supervision
- Clients’ Relationship Management- Onboarding of new clients, KYC etc for AML Compliance
- Management of Engagement letters- issuance and continuous review as occasion demands
- Management of Staff under supervision for optimal efficiency- assignment of job responsibilities.
- CT600 including previous year’s loss relief
- Capital Allowance Computations, claiming CIS for construction Industry and filing same to the HMRC
- R&D for SMEs calculations and supporting information/documents for HMRC records
- Advising Clients of CT600 Tax Payable for timely tax compliance. Filing of Directors’ Tax returns to the HMRC
- VAT registration for eligible Companies, preparation and supervision of VAT returns to the HMRC
- Preparation and submission of Self -assessment Tax Returns of sole traders
- Partnerships including advising clients on weather to incorporate a company or trade as a sole trader.
- Tax Review, Tax Management & Compliance, Tax Planning; liaison with HMRC to appeal penalties for resolutions
- Computation of Capital Gain Tax -CGT on sold properties, Computations of IHT and Reliefs including Trusts
- Champion teamwork across teams and functions to reinforce standard methodologies and consistency while ensuring high levels of work quality and efficiency to achieve team’s critical metrics (Productivity, quality, Timeliness) management.
- Reinforce the client first culture to further improve clients experience with us
- Effectively evaluate employee performance including assigning goals, conducting performance reviews, and developing direct reports for success.
Qualifications and education requirements
ACCA Affiliate/ Part Qualified, CA- Inter, BBA/MBA Finance, Bachelor’s degree (preferably in the field of Accounting, Finance)
Preferred skills
- Deep understanding of and proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, Tax Filer, MS Excel
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience with strong grasp of workflow management/Operations Management
- Strong people management skills
- Positive, dedicated attitude and ability to engage and motivate teams
- An ability to present or discuss an analysis of the problem at hand and its possible solution(s) with partners of all levels.
